Effects of alcohol is something that is known to all of use, despite that there are alcoholics in the society and the rate of alcoholism is growing day by day. Alcoholism affects not only the alcoholic, but at the same time, almost traps every one around him or related to time. The long term effects of alcoholism are really disastrous, as once vision most of the times is limited. While sipping alcohol no one could even anticipate the disaster it could attract. While tasting the first sip, an alcoholic wouldn’t have thought about the fact that he/she might end up getting addicted to it.

The effects of alcoholism could be seen in professional life or personal life or even social life. Every aspect of like is disturbed and disrupted by the effects of alcoholism. It has been noticed that there are people who are alcoholics and they do understand the effects of alcohol not only the immediate once but fortunately, they are aware of the long term effects of alcoholism as well. Despite that it gets very difficult for them to get out of the thick clutches of alcoholism. Not that they don’t want to save them selves from the effects of alcoholism, but for a reason that they are unable to control the temptation of drinking. There are lots of institutions working towards the betterment of such alcoholics, but there is a long way to go.

Lets’ face it that alcoholism effects are wide spread over almost all the faces of an alcoholic’s life. But the way alcoholism affects the family of an alcoholic is disheartening.
